The Oil and Gas “Business” – This course is for oil and gas company employees and investors who wish to better understand the business and economics aspects of oil and gas. This course includes basic oil and gas financial reporting; project economics and AFEs; planning, budgeting and monitoring; major costs and their drivers; working with partners; performance measurement tools; basic legal and regulatory requirements; and key business controls. The course includes a ½ day simulated business exercise in which each attendee will start and run their own oil and gas company and keep track of the results. We recommend that attendees take one of our overview courses before registering for this course.
